Positions Available:

Operations Support and Logistics - $15.56/hour

This position includes working outside.  Duties also include possibly directing traffic and checking in COVID patients at testing sites.

Contact Tracer - $15.56/hr (bilingual $16.06/hr)

  • Good customer service skills and a good voice for phone conversations
  • Decent data entry skills (Word & Excel)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and call center experience is a plus
  • High School Diploma required
  • Can pass a background check (no recent felonies or high misdemeanors, those with felonies in the distant past will be considered on a case by case basis)
  • Must be comfortable working in a cubical environment that is socially distanced

Health Records Technician in Annapolis, MD - Salary $30,307 - $38,768 with potential growth to $47,317/year, eligible for benefits

Position Duties

The main purpose of this position is to preserve, promote and protect the health of all people who live, work and play in Anne Arundel County by providing health promotion and disease prevention information to clients seeking immunization services in the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Program. this position provides assistance to Immunization nurses through record review, billing, referrals, making client appointments and providing immunization outreach. The duties of this position ensure that program participants receive individualized attention and support in their endeavors to take advantage of program and community resources.

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate

Education: Two years of experience compiling and maintaining health records.

Candidates for this classification must demonstrate the ability to type at a minimum speed of 20 words per minute.

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

  1. Bilingual skills;
  2. Experience in an Immunization clinic;
  3. Experience providing outreach and education in community health settings;
  4. Experience collecting data and using electronic databases and other computer software packages, such as Google Suite;
  5. Experience with medical billing; and,
  6. Excellent communication and customer service
