Insurance Pre-Apprenticeship Info Session

Are you interested in a career in insurance?

The National Association of Insurance Professionals, Inc. will be conducting an Info Session which could lead to on-the-spot interviews and selection for their new Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) Program in Insurance.

The PACT in Insurance will: 

• Introduce participants to the many career and entrepreneurial opportunities in insurance. 
• Provide professional licensures, credentialing, and soft skills development that can lead to livable wage jobs in the insurance and financial services industry. 
• Create a structure that enhances the likelihood newly licensed professionals will remain in the insurance industry. 

The PACT is offered in a classroom setting and will prepare participants to take and PASS (2) state insurance licensing exams: Property and Casualty and Life, Accident, and Health.

• Classroom Training is followed by on-the-job training in a local insurance agency, bank, credit union, or call center.
• Program duration: 240 hours- 30 hours per week over 8 weeks
• Participants can earn a stipend of up to $150.00 per week.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be at least 17.5 years of age
• Have basic level English reading ability
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
