success story

Jaedon Johnson-Webb

“AAWDC helped me learn this whole field from the ground up. They got me certifications, I got my ITF and my A+ through AAWDC, they helped me land an internship with Peake Technology Partners (my current company), so I am eternally grateful for that… They gave me this whole opportunity. I have grown and benefitted from the career services that AAWDC offers in numerous ways. I went from just having a basic interest in this field to really being able to make a full-time career out of it.”

Jaedon Johnson-Webb

Jaedon Johnson-Webb was initially drawn to AAWDC due to his interest in the I.T. industry, inspired by his mother’s career. As a high school senior, Jaedon completed AAWDC’s CareerX program at Meade High School and interned at the Career Center under AAWDC staff. Following graduation, Jaedon participated in the FutureSuccess program and interned at AAWDC’s Millersville site, continuing to hone his technical and interpersonal skills. Subsequently, he was able to complete his CompTIA I.T. Fundamentals training through NextSuccess and secured a 560-hour internship at PEAKE Technology Partners, where he was then offered a full-time position as a Support Services Tech. His recent achievement of CompTIA A+ marks yet another significant milestone in his burgeoning career.
